Cows
Why cows? Because I love them, plain and simple. I always have, and I distinctly recall being teased for it because cows have so often been used as joke animals in society and media. And sure, there are funny things about them, just like with anything else, but I cannot personally overlook the depth of history and cohabitation that exists between man and cattle, and how we don’t really exist without them. I also cannot overlook the simple beauty and appeal of these creatures, nor can I overlook how fun it is to give them fat little cheeks, gap teeth, and round tummies. What started as intellectual pursuit regarding agriculture and the dairy industry turned into a full-blown art series that is still and probably ever will be in production. Check my Patreon and search “cows” to see the past write-ups I’ve done of different breeds around the world, but this is the best place to view these cuties, because I stuck them all in a field together!
